Music That Makes Community
All Saints Company is shifting the culture of the church toward a high level of collaborative participation through music. In the tradition of the Shakers, Taize, and the Iona Community, we are fostering a tradition of new music that does not rely on books but rather on learning and singing by heart. This music works in small gathering as well as large, and can be taught by leaders with little professional music background, making it perfect for small congregations or alternative services.
As part of this project, we are gathering composers, clergy and lay leaders together to write and teach bookless music that will serve to connect people to each other.
