Holy Week Workshop 1: Palm Sunday, the Maundy, and Good Friday

This Saturday workshop is the first of a two-part offering to help make the production of Holy Week and the experiences of the liturgies a means of powerful renewal in a congregation.
For five years, All Saints Company has convened a week-long intensive conference on Holy Week planning. We will distill the essence of that week to ask:
How can we make these services the most exciting events (short of the Easter Vigil) in the congregation’s life? What is their missionary and faith formation function? How can we use Holy Week to teach our congregation the power of working together for Christian and community formation?
We’ll look at practical matters like managing Production teams, sharing leadership in the liturgy, realigning the content of Palm Sunday, practical possibilities of the Last Supper and footwashing, and enriching the themes and options for Good Friday.
