St. Paul's Episcopal Church 114 Montecito Avenue Oakland, CA 94610
We are lay folk, priests, professional actors and dancers, Sunday School teachers and others who never cease to be inspired by the story of Jesus’ birth and it’s power to bring communities together. We’ll meet to share our stories, read from each other’s scripts and play with making our own impromptu telling of the story. This Workshop will be a collaborative, on-our-feet experience, formed to the needs and strengths of the group.
We will be asking questions like:
How do you design a pageant?
How many rehearsals do you want?
How a pageant serves those involved?
How does it proclaim Good News?
How do we blur the lines between performers and audience?
Bring your questions, scripts, and dreams of what your pageant could be!
